Job Summary: 
Passages to Recovery is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to prepare and serve meals for our residential population. This role involves adhering to strict dietary guidelines and food safety standards while being sensitive to the unique needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines.
  • Comfortable working with a Criminal Justice Population.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Serve meals, accommodating special dietary needs.
  • Assist in inventory management and food supply ordering.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or Serve Safe certification preferred.
  • Experience in food service, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Requirements:
  • Serve Safe certification at the time of hire.
  • Ability to obtain ACT 33 & 34 Clearances.
  • Valid PA Driver’s License preferred.
Physical Requirements: 
Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
