Job Description

Specific Job Functions:

  • Ensure proper flatware and appropriate plates are on table prior to food being delivered
  • Pick up order allowing for proper distribution.
  • Condiments will be delivered before or at the time the food is served
  • Present each item and confirm guest satisfaction and offer any additional services
  • Serve ladies first, repeat with men, end with host
  • All food should be served from the right with the right hand
  • Refresh all beverages, and offer to replenish cocktail order
  • Ensure tables are properly set, side stations are clean, and side work is properly completed
  • Assist with initial guest complaints and inform manager on duty immediately
  • Maintain side stations in a clean and orderly manner
  • Maintain prescribed par stock levels in side stations
  • Pre-bus tables as guest's finish their dish
  • Assist with proper stock rotation
  • Keep dining room floor clean and free of excess debris/liquids at all times
  • Polish Silverware
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

Qualifications:

  • Previous Food-Runner Experience or Food and Beverage experience required.
  • Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
  • This position requires all employees to wear black slip resistant shoes as part of their uniform
