Compensation: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour Key Responsibilities of the Food Runner: Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation. Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges. Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivering of food. Organizes the plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables. Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards. Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket. Corrects the menu item with the chef before delivering the menu item if it is not meeting the exact specification on the ticket. Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used. Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course. Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins. Assists the server when needed. Keeps work stations well stocked of items and ingredients. Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Performs other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications for the Food Runner: One month related experience or training. Other Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness and neatness. Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

The Plant Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager reports to the Plant Manager, the Corporate Food Safety Manager and the Corporate Quality Assurance Manager. Core Responsibilities Quality and Food Safety Verification and Compliance Verifies that all Food Safety, Quality Assurance and Regulatory programs are functioning as designed, being followed and correctly documented – thus ensuring the facility has the “regulatory evidence” required to prove they have produced safe and wholesome products. Ensures USDA regulatory compliance by making scientifically defendable decisions that do not result in unjustified decreases in operational productivity or efficiency. Able to quickly and thoroughly investigate a product/process failure, determine the root cause and take prompt corrective actions; while minimizing product exposure and production down time. Revise and update food safety and quality programs and procedures as directed. Accountable for the preparation and the execution of USDA daily verification tasks, as well as numerous 3rd party audits and USDA food safety system assessments. Food Safety and Quality Improvement Prevents HACCP, SSOP and process or product failures by working with Food Safety and Quality Assurance staff members and Operations to drive continuous improvement of product quality through developing food safety and quality plans, process controls, attention to process and specifications, food safety and quality training. Sanitation and Food Safety Accountable for the overall design of the facility’s sanitation program. Compensation: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
 
Key Responsibilities of the Food Runner:
  • Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation. 
  • Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
  • Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivering of food.
  • Organizes the plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run the food out to the tables.
  • Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
  •  Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket.
  • Corrects the menu item with the chef before delivering the menu item if it is not meeting the exact specification on the ticket.
  • Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used.
  • Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course.
  • Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins.  
  • Assists the server when needed.
  • Keeps work stations well stocked of items and ingredients.
  • Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room.  
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
 

Minimum Qualifications for the Food Runner:

  • One month related experience or training.

  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness and neatness. 
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.
