SENIOR DIRECTOR, SALES - FOOD SERVICEOVERVIEW: As the Senior Director, Sales, Food Service, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of all strategic initiatives within existing customers and targeting new customers to accelerate top-line growth across Teasdale's manufacturing facilities. This role will lead our Food Service team across a broad portfolio of Latin-inspired products, including tortillas and tortilla chips, taco shells, meal kits, hominy, salsa, and canned and refried beans. You will develop and lead market strategy recommendations internally and externally, helping drive profitable growth. The candidate will own the Food Service channel, build relationships with existing and prospective customers, lead contract negotiations, and identify opportunities to improve margins and support business growth. Successful candidates will leverage their existing customer relationships, category insights, and market knowledge to elevate Teasdale's customer portfolio. You will be a leader in our Sales organization. You will work closely with our Procurement, Quality, R&D, Product Management, Demand Planning, Operations, and Consumer Insights teams to develop solutions and processes that drive sales. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Lead and manage the Food Service sales team, including hiring, training, establishing objectives, and performance management. Create go-to-market strategies to acquire, secure, and grow Teasdale's Food Service business. Develop an annual sales plan that supports Teasdale's strategy and annual objectives. Establish quarterly and annual revenue objectives for the team and actively manage key performance metrics to monitor team performance and effectiveness. Proactively develop and implement joint business plans with key customers Lead and own the monthly sales forecast and set performance goals for the Food Service channel accordingly Communicate product feedback from prospective and current customers to the quality and product development teams Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to grow long-term market share Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and new product development opportunities Actively manage broker relationships to grow sales, market share, and profitability with appropriate targets and performance goals Leverage syndicated and customer-specific data, creating category insight selling stories that drive results – help lead the team with an emphasis on category insights as a daily business practice. To optimize sales flow, work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, New Product Development, Demand Planning, and Operations. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 10+ years of Food Service experience required in sales and category insights. Experience calling on foodservice accounts and national distributors is a requirement. Experience developing, planning, and leading strategic internal and external initiatives. Experience in a successful leadership role managing a team of 3+ people. Someone who gets things done, is innovative, and works with a sense of urgency. Excellent data analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to create insightful presentations and business cases to drive results. Ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions.
