Job Description
Project Coordinator
Position Overview
At Alyeska Builders, our Project Coordinators help create an exceptional experience for our clients while keeping projects organized from planning through completion. You'll work closely with clients during the design and selection process, coordinate materials and schedules, and support our Project Managers and field teams throughout construction.
This is an office-based position with regular client interaction and occasional site visits. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and design, and wants to build a long-term career in construction project management.
What You'll Do
- Guide clients through design and material selections.
- Schedule and lead selection meetings both in our office and at local suppliers.
- Order and track project materials.
- Maintain project information, notes, and updates in our project management software.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field crews.
- Assist with scheduling, project documentation, and job organization.
- Participate in pre-construction, project, and closeout meetings.
- Answer phones, assist with new client accounts, and support general office operations.
- Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every client who walks through our doors.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of customer service experience (construction experience is a bonus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.
Growth Opportunity
This position is designed to develop into a Project Manager role. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and continued training, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence to eventually manage projects from start to finish.
Employment Requirements
As part of the Alyeska Builders team, employees are expected to:
- Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Complete OSHA-10 certification before employment (company-provided if needed).
- Complete one company-approved continuing education course every six months (provided by the company and completed on your own time).
- Report any driving violations that may affect employment responsibilities.
Benefits
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
- Company-paid Life Insurance
- Retirement Plan with Company Match
- Paid Time Off
- Paid Holidays
- Fitness Membership Incentive
- Ongoing training and professional development
No Earning Ceiling
Once employees reach Journey status, they're eligible for annual performance-based wage increases of 1-3%, creating continued opportunities for financial growth throughout their career with Alyeska Builders.
Schedule
- Full-time, year-round employment
- Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Overtime as needed
At Alyeska Builders, we're more than a construction company-we're a team that genuinely enjoys working together. We believe in taking care of our people, serving our clients well, and creating opportunities for long-term careers. If you're looking for a place where you can grow, make an impact, and be part of a close-knit team, we'd love to meet you.
