Overview:

Due to growth, Empower Physical Therapy is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Anchorage, AK. Full-time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with a minimum of 16 hours and 2 weekdays of availability will also be considered. This is a staff level position, with a path to management available for interested candidates.

The ideal candidate should be personable with good communication skills.

New grad Physical Therapist Assistants will be supported and mentored.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Physical Therapist Assistant hired will work in a dynamic outpatient orthopedic setting to treat patients of all ages for a general orthopedic caseload, vestibular and pelvic floor cases are available. Bring your passion and specialty to join the winning team!

The expectation for full-time is to see 44 patients per week. All care is 1-on-1 provided during 45 minutes sessions. Provider autonomy over schedule. No overlapping of patients unless you as the therapist see the need for your patient to stay longer.

Compensation:

The compensation for this full-time position is in the range of $66,000-$75,000, with increases based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

The clinic is open Monday-Friday: 7 am- 7 pm. No weekends. No holidays!

Job Requirements:

Eligible for Alaska state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Prior outpatient ortho experience is preferred.

New grad PTAs will be supported and mentored.
