The purpose of the class is to perform skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, HVAC, hydraulic, and some electrical and plumbing systems and equipment; to perform general carpentry and minor building construction and renovation work; to provide leadership of subordinate mechanics as assigned, and to perform related work as required. Summary: The Commercial Driver is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers.
