These programs are strategic and cross-functional, with high commercial value and technical or organizational complexity. The Program Manager will leverage resources from our innovation, design, engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. They will draw from engineering and operational expertise to handle customer relationships, marshal internal resources across multiple companies, and foster collaboration between Re:Build companies and clients. The Program Manager will be an excellent communicator, have the foresight to identify and mitigate risks in advance, and can balance multiple, sophisticated projects in parallel. What you get to do Build and drive project plans for highly sophisticated, and initially undefined programs, from initial requirements' statement, through to manufacturing, including developing manufacturing processes and facilities. Lead and be a significant technical contributor to program feasibility studies, technology development, product development, and transition to manufacturing for sophisticated products or systems. Partner with commercial market leads to develop market and customer financial assessments. Develop fluency in project pricing and program financial modeling, including building sub-project quotes (internal and external) and critically analyzing financial models for input and assumption accuracy. Work across teams to identify project dependencies and build out detailed development cycle timelines. Drive programs to completion while ensuring that the budget, resource, and timeline constraints are maintained. Facilitate creative solutions to unanticipated events and unforeseen demands to ensure on-time delivery. Facilitate regular communication between the client and team leads, and communication of project status to Re:Build leadership. Assist with internal process development and standardization for product deployments. Coordinate and track product certification efforts with regulatory bodies. Facilitate iterative product cost down efforts. What you bring to the Team A BS degree in an engineering or technical field (electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering). Advanced technical degree and/or MBA preferred. Eight+ years of full-time work experience in a technical project management role with a heavy engineering focus. A proven ability to influence others to work cooperatively and meet deadlines without having direct line supervisory responsibility. Demonstrated success bringing technically complex programs or products to completion on-time and on-budget while providing exceptional service to customers. Experience managing timelines, requirements, budgets, and metrics for technically complex products for commercial customers. Experience managing timelines for products subjected to regulatory certification like UL, CE, CSA, etc. Demonstrated ability to navigate supply chains for ordering processes and the associated lead times. Certifications in Program and/or Project Management preferred. Experience using project management tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, ClickUp, Asana, Confluence (or equivalent). Experience using PDM or PLM systems in an engineering setting. What else you should know: Location Preference: Rock Hill, South Carolina. However, candidates commutable to our offices located in New Kensington, PA, Avon, OH, or Nashua, NH will also be considered. Who are we looking for? Composite Resources is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Your responsibilities will include performing routine and high-level maintenance tasks, assisting with material handling equipment, and contributing to the upkeep of our warehouse environment. What you get to do! Perform Preventative maintenance per prescribed procedures on facilities and equipment. Assist in developing preventative maintenance procedures where they may not exist Keep accurate and updated records related to preventative maintenance. Ensure all preventative maintenance required materials have proper inventory and are well organized. Troubleshoot problems with assistance from the maintenance lead as needed. Determine if able to repair or resources that will be required to repair or replace and communicate timely and appropriately. Make necessary repairs within own capability and capacity. Take ownership of the repair process assigned until completion, including identifying root cause failures, preventing future downtime, and communicating work status to all collaborators. Work in coordination with any contractor work and activity that may be onsite. Work with Maintenance Lead and Purchasing on necessary repair purchases. May be assigned continuous improvement work related to equipment or other related process improvements. Support improvement events (RIE’s-Rapid Improvement Events, 5s and other) from a maintenance perspective. Continuous improvement approach, including generating ideas and actions for improving the facility maintenance department. What you will bring to the Team Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance repair including the following: troubleshooting, PM’s, electrical repair, general maintenance, and Facility Repair knowledge Maintenance related or electrical certification or training preferred Experience with CNC machine maintenance preferred Experience with autoclaves/gas or electric ovens preferred Competence in technical tasks, proficiency in mechanical work, ability to troubleshoot effectively, and strong communication skills. Ability to perform manual labor, occasionally lift up to 70 pounds, and work in various conditions. Responsibilities The department manager requires extensive technical experience and exercising of judgment in the performance of the position objectives. The department manager must optimize solutions through analysis of varied alternatives. The positions require working with a variety of industries, clients, and technical issues. The department will be expected to supervise and lead others, delegate work, and work on/lead multiple projects at one time. Department Manager responsibilities included for Management of the Department: Responsible for resources Staffing for billability (target goal 82.5% for department which includes DM in totals) Assigning capable resources Obtaining new resources (i.e., hiring) Resource planning Training/Development plans (e.g., development and use of Promapp) Personnel Administration Performance & Salary Reviews Career Development Company Policies & Procedures Work Environment Office & job site safety – “Think Safety” and maintain/turn in safety training records Employee morale Tool and workspace Communication of Company policy/direction Department Sales & Marketing Support Internally generate one week of engineering and design sales per month per department employee; and/or meet/exceed annual sales goal determined by the Director/VP. Defining and estimating support – maximize billability while supporting needed future sales. Project responsibilities: The department manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the discipline deliverables, quality, and administrative portions of the project. Scope - The department manager is responsible for the discipline portion of all scope documents. In many cases the department manager will develop the scope documents although these may be developed by others. The department manager is responsible for using the correct documents (from the ITAC network) and assuring that these documents meet their intended purpose. Scope documents include: Scope of Work – defines project deliverables and schedules. Discipline Narrative/Project Execution Plan – defines the details of the discipline design. Specification – defines the details equipment or programming effort (when applicable to your discipline). The purpose of these scope documents is to communicate the project objectives to the client, project manager, and design team. These documents must have enough detail to allow the discipline design team to proceed in the absence of the lead engineer. These documents must specify the deliverables and schedule. Schedule – The department manager is responsible for aiding in the developing and maintaining the project schedule as defined in the scope documents. The department manager must assure proper resources are assigned and the project is proceeding on schedule. Budget – The department manager is responsible for tracking and maintaining all of the discipline budgets as defined in the proposal and project estimate. Quality – The department manager is responsible for the quality of all discipline deliverables. The manager departments are responsible for ensuring quality control procedures for all deliverables are followed. Execution Plan – The department manager is responsible for aiding in the development and execution of the Project Execution Plan, identifying and communicating areas of risk and delays in that execution plan. Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Program Manager who will lead and grow programs that span the breadth of our capabilities. These programs are strategic and cross-functional, with high commercial value and technical or organizational complexity. The Program Manager will leverage resources from our innovation, design, engineering, software, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. They will draw from engineering and operational expertise to handle customer relationships, marshal internal resources across multiple companies, and foster collaboration between Re:Build companies and clients. The Program Manager will be an excellent communicator, have the foresight to identify and mitigate risks in advance, and can balance multiple, sophisticated projects in parallel.

  • Build and drive project plans for highly sophisticated, and initially undefined programs, from initial requirements' statement, through to manufacturing, including developing manufacturing processes and facilities.
  • Lead and be a significant technical contributor to program feasibility studies, technology development, product development, and transition to manufacturing for sophisticated products or systems.
  • Partner with commercial market leads to develop market and customer financial assessments.
  • Develop fluency in project pricing and program financial modeling, including building sub-project quotes (internal and external) and critically analyzing financial models for input and assumption accuracy.
  • Work across teams to identify project dependencies and build out detailed development cycle timelines.
  • Drive programs to completion while ensuring that the budget, resource, and timeline constraints are maintained.
  • Facilitate creative solutions to unanticipated events and unforeseen demands to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Facilitate regular communication between the client and team leads, and communication of project status to Re:Build leadership.
  • Assist with internal process development and standardization for product deployments.
  • Coordinate and track product certification efforts with regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate iterative product cost down efforts.

What you bring to the Team

  • A BS degree in an engineering or technical field (electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering). Advanced technical degree and/or MBA preferred.
  • Eight+ years of full-time work experience in a technical project management role with a heavy engineering focus.
  • A proven ability to influence others to work cooperatively and meet deadlines without having direct line supervisory responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success bringing technically complex programs or products to completion on-time and on-budget while providing exceptional service to customers.
  • Experience managing timelines, requirements, budgets, and metrics for technically complex products for commercial customers.
  • Experience managing timelines for products subjected to regulatory certification like UL, CE, CSA, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate supply chains for ordering processes and the associated lead times.
  • Certifications in Program and/or Project Management preferred.
  • Experience using project management tools like Smartsheet, MS Project, ClickUp, Asana, Confluence (or equivalent).
  • Experience using PDM or PLM systems in an engineering setting.

Location Preference: Rock Hill, South Carolina. However, candidates commutable to our offices located in New Kensington, PA, Avon, OH, or Nashua, NH will also be considered.

Travel: 25% travel required.
