This position is located in our Covina Radiation/Oncology clinic.

As a Medical Assistant, you will help us by performing administrative and clinical duties across the Front and Back Office.

Responsibilities:

  • EMR Charting
  • Interview patients for the purpose of gathering health history and current medications.
  • Take and document vital signs. This may include, but is not limited to patients' height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure manually but not limited to use of device.
  • Injections, as necessary.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
  • Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.
  • Promote TOI's culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.
  • Assisting with coverage at surrounding clinics as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant Diploma program
  • High school graduate or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Assistant Certificate preferred, not required.
