Responsibilities Greet and direct patients and visitors Gate Keeping Patient registration/check-out Collect co-payments and deductibles. Reconcile daily cash report Schedule and update patient appointments, blood transfusions, and diagnostic tests in accordance with established protocol Answer telephone and respond to inquiries, direct caller to appropriate personnel or initiate a triage message for response by medical personnel. Job Description:

The Medical Assistant (Front Desk) is responsible for greeting patients and answering telephone calls for the Los Angeles Cancer Network (OneOncology affiliated medical practice).  This role will also provide office support for the front office area.

  • Maintain supplies and cleanliness of the front office

Qualifications

  • Great Customer Service Skills
  • Medical Terminology-Oncology/Hematology Specific
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Previous Oncology/ Hematology experience preferred

Base Salary Range: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
