Job Description
Arrive Together works to partner with Law Enforcement in identifying community residents with an unmet mental health, substance use or social service need, and reducing police contacts via social work intervention.
Position Title: Clinician
Position Type: Per Diem; Up to 20 Hours Weekly
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Location: Ocean County, NJ
Department: ARRIVE Together Northern Region
Salary: $40.00 Hourly
Responsibilities:
- Provide outreach services, clinical assessments and case management services to community members
- Assist community members in identification of available resources, services and treatment options
- Provide and facilitate linkage to services
- Provides ongoing assessment of client's emotional well-being, clinical symptomology, behavioral changes
- Collaborate with On P.O.I.N.T. team, law enforcement and community service providers as needed
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team for collaboration of client care
- Provide direct assistance to consumers with obtaining basic needs
- Provide crisis intervention and assessment as necessary
- Co-response in community alongside officer
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a Health and Human Services Field
- LSW or LAC required
- Experience in providing community outreach services
- Knowledge of the Ocean County System of Care for adults and youth
- Experience and understanding of Law Enforcement or experience working with law enforcement strongly preferred
- Valid NJ Driver's License with less than six (6) points
- Bilingual preferred
