SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide direct clinical consultation, crisis intervention and counseling services that are trauma informed, culturally responsive, flexible and attuned to the needs and circumstances of the individual resident and their family. · Effectively engage families and provide services to include parent coaching, family counseling, and parent support groups. Participate in all family conferences. Work with residential and medical staff to create and maintain open partnerships with families to support communication and visiting. · Work with team members to provide families with ongoing support to learn about trauma informed care and provide psychoeducation, counseling and coaching so that family caregivers can strengthen their own coping strategies and self-care and support, to increase their capacity to respond and support the child in a trauma responsive. · Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team conferences to formulate and implement treatment plans. Facilitate family safety plans, visiting contracts and counseling. · Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and program staff and work cooperatively with all to ensure the provision of services. · Complete additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associates (LMFTs), Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to join our expanding team in Oakland and Stockton. Position is part time 15 hours per week.  Ability to work Days. Some telehealth hours, however must be able to come in to  the office.  Future opportunity for more hours dependent on the agencies needs.   
Clinicians will provide individual, couples, and family therapy, collaborate with community partners, and contribute to our holistic care approach.  
What You’ll Do
  • Provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed psychotherapy to diverse clients.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision and team meetings.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to provide whole-person care.
  • Engage in continued learning to grow your clinical skills.
Qualifications
✅ Registered AMFT, LMFTA, ASW, or fully licensed LCSW in California (must provide BBS registration number). ✅ Passion for working with BIPOC and underserved communities. ✅ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively. ✅ Must be eligible to work in California and provide in-person services in Oakland and/or Stockton.
