Our Cooks are an integral part of the Dining Services team, helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals. We look forward to learning more about you and how we can support your culinary success! Our Cooks: Prepare assigned stations for shift. Under direction of lead cook/sous chef, prepare individual components of various entrees and food items, adhering to the individual dietary restrictions of residents. Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary food handling in compliance with State, Federal, and DSHS regulations. Complete other duties as assigned What you need to succeed! At least 18 years of age. Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community. Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months. Current First Aid Training and Certifications per Title 22. Prior experience as a cook/lead cook (1-2 years preferred) Ability to prepare high quality food for our residents, Able to work Holidays and pre-planned events. Maintain professional relationships with food and equipment venders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents Able to prepare therapeutic/modified diets. Successful completion of recognized food safety course. Texas Roadhouse is looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee both Front of House and Back of House operations and be responsible for making sure that Legendary Food and Legendary Service are adhered to at all times. As a Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities would include:

  • Manage hourly employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching and discipline
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or making recommendation to hire hourly employees
  • Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Providing, directing, and scheduling Front of House and Back of House training
  • Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Conducting formal line Taste & Temps
  • Enforcing appropriate security measures at the restaurant so that the safety of our employees and guests are maintained at all times
  • Manage food, supplies, and liquor costs by conducting weekly inventory
  • Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
  • Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals
