Position Summary: Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation of the resort restaurants. Adhering to and making sure the staff are following company standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

These duties include:

• Ensuring food is prepared correctly and in a timely manner, keeping customers happy and adhering to the safety standards of the restaurants.
• Can be involved in the hiring process but will be involved in the training process on their shifts. Following up with the new hires and the trainers to ensure proper training. Coaching and counseling on a shift basis
• Overseeing day to day operations
• Overseeing floor charts, specials of the day, Point of Sale (POS) changes, maintaining the lights and fire pit during service, accepting cash and cash outs from the servers, inputting all closing information into the nightly email, email calculator, and the tip spreadsheet.
• Checking out the staff, ensuring all side work is done to standard before the staff leaves.
• Locking up all of the doors and turning the proper lights off.
• Managing Inventory
• Keeping communication with Managers of needs the restaurant might have when it comes to ordering products.
• Building Sales and Profits
• Building relationships with our guests and using their name, recognizing people who return.
• Coaching and guiding the staff on upselling. Coming up with ideas on how to generate more business to the restaurant.

Requirements:

• Must have general knowledge of restaurant operation, preferably in a resort or upscale environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have good communication skills, with ability to tactfully address internal and external guests.
• Must have a positive attitude and ability to foster a nurturing environment.
• Must be able to attain Food Handler's and Alcohol Service certification within 30 days of hire
