Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Creating and maintaining a welcoming environment for the service department. Greeting and directing all service clients. Scheduling and confirming service appointments. Handling cash and taking credit card payments. Balancing cash drawers and completing bank deposits. Scanning service repair orders and maintaining service files. Act as main support for the service advisors and service management team. Ferguson is currently seeking 2nd Shift Warehouse Equipment Operators for our Lebanon, TN distribution center! If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and/or receiving, coupled with a dedication to quality, this is the position for you!

2nd shift hours begin at 3:00pm or 5:00pm, based on role responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in putaway, picking, and/or loading preferred
  • Strong work ethic
  • Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required
  • Drive to excel in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to accurately and safely complete picking and/or storage tasks via operation of powered industrial equipment including stand-up high lift, reach trucks or dock stockers
  • Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet
  • Ability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing and/or walking for up to 12 hours
  • Ability to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours, based on business need

Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including but not limited to stand-up forklifts, in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures
  • Accurately pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations
  • Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner
  • Effectively communicate with associates and display teamwork in completing task assignments
  • Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
  • Execute tasks utilizing hand-held RF units / scanners and/or voice devices
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas
  • Accurately sort, label, and store picked product safely in containers or on pallet
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization

  • Pay Range:
  • $15.00 - $23.79
  • Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
  • This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
