• Greet guests, present them with menu and inform guests about the specials of the day.

• Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of Sale (POS) system.

• Serve food and beverage to the guest as per the course of order.

• Maintain proper dining experience, deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, refill glasses. 

• Obtain revenues, issue receipts and accept payments.

• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. 

• Coordinate with the dining room attendant, kitchen staff, and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:

• Previous experience as a restaurant server.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Dependability and regular attendance.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
