Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for specialty ingredients? Do you have strong leadership skills and the ability to drive a strategic sourcing approach? We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Teamlead Sourcing to join our dynamic team and lead our procurement strategy for specialty ingredients.

Your Role:

  • Formulate, implement and ensure the sourcing strategy for the category, aligning with the overall organizational sourcing strategy
  • Collaborate with key interfaces to ensure strategic alignment across all procurement activities
  • Lead supplier management activities, ensuring optimal relationships, performance and value from our suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with key suppliers
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate relevant price trends and developments within procurement markets
  • Ensure the procurement team stays ahead of market changes and uses this information to make informed sourcing decisions
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring that terms are favorable, compliant and support long-term strategic goals
  • Oversee the processing of complaints, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
  • Analyze complaint data and implement corrective actions to minimize issues
  • Drive active market observation to stay informed of emerging trends, opportunities and risks
  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans to meet business needs and goals

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in procurement or sourcing of Natural and/or Synthetic ingredientsuse in the Flavors industry or similar
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes, market dynamics and supplier management
  • Ability to analyze complex market data and trends and apply insights to strategic decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complaints and feedback effectively
  • Experience with procurement planning, strategy formulation and execution
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
