This is a contract position located in Cameron, LA. The E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Coordinator is responsible for client oversight and coordination of electrical, instrumentation, and controls construction activities in one of the various areas of a major LNG facility located in Cameron, LA. Areas include PTM, LFM, PIS, BOP, BOG, NRU, Tanks, & Marine. He or She is responsible for ensuring that construction work is performed according to the project requirements and expectations with specific attention to safety, schedule, budget, & quality. Use computer system to compare patient results to previous results during the same encounter and investigate discrepancies and report test results within established departmental turn-around times after verifying documentation is complete and accurate. Prepare and interpret gram stains and other wet and dry preparations for bacteriology and parasitology. Perform all routine procedures including, but not limited to, ABORH typing and retesting, antibody detection and identification, compatibility testing and serology procedures. Prepare blood components while maintaining aseptic technique and proper storage. Evaluate serological reactivity to assist with antibody identification and crossmatch incompatibilities. Follow universal precautions at all times when dealing with blood or body fluids and disinfect counter tops at the end of the shift with appropriate cleaner. Operate, calibrate, conduct performance checks, and maintain any clinical laboratory instrument or equipment after orientation, troubleshoot basic instrument malfunctions, and document in the appropriate action log. Determine when an instrument's service representative should be contacted for assistance. Analyze quality control material for each procedure, record values according to section policy, and report to technical supervisor when results are outside established limits. Perform comparison studies of precision, accuracy and linearity on new or existing procedures, record proficiency surveys, and route form and reagent quality control as specified in the quality control manuals. Assist in the clinical orientation of new or less skilled laboratory personnel as requested by the section Supervisor. Assures proper packaging and disposal of waste chemicals. Maintain proper documentation (log) of generated waste. Perform order or result entry (manual or computerized) and reviews information for accuracy before verification. Document critical call value notification, duplicate checking, date and time of performance, technologist initials and expected age related "normal" values on all down-time reports as appropriate. Check instruments and benches assigned for appropriate reagent and supply levels and replenishes and notify appropriate person of low inventory items or of any out-of-date reagents contaminated or otherwise unacceptable, record receipt of supplies and reagents, properly initialing and dating the inventory items at receipt, time put into use and expiration, and ensure adequate inventory levels are available for incoming shifts. Receive tissue specimens from surgery, autopsy and the nursing floors, perform proper processing and preservation of tissue specimens, comply with proper specimen storage and preservation of all other non-tissue specimens for non-core laboratory. Prepare necessary reagents and collection supplies for assisting with bone marrow aspirations according to physician orders, assist physicians in the procurement of bone marrow specimens, perform special stains and follow protocols as appropriate. Recommend and implement network standards to support the enterprise network infrastructure. Implementation and Integration: Oversee the deployment of network infrastructure, ensuring integration with existing systems. Lead network configuration, testing, and troubleshooting across multiple sites. Work closely with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure optimal hardware and software solutions. Network Security: Implement and maintain network security strategies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Ensure compliance with security protocols, best practices, NIST and STIG requirements. Evaluate and mitigate network vulnerabilities by implementing advanced security measures. Network Automation Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using tools such as Ansible, Python, etc. to streamline network operations. Implement network security policies to safeguard network data and infrastructure Optimization and Performance Management: Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Optimize network infrastructure for low-latency, high-throughput requirements, especially for AI and ML workloads. Implement network optimization techniques, including traffic shaping, load balancing, and QoS (Quality of Service) policies. Conduct performance tuning, network monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high-speed data transfers and minimal latency across clusters. Conducts routine capacity planning and identifies recommendations for network infrastructure and systems. Schedules, plans, and performs periodic scheduled maintenance to ensure systems are operating at optimal levels and running on the latest stable code Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, development teams, and management, to ensure network infrastructure supports business/mission applications. Provide expert guidance and support for network-related issues. Communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders, explaining how network decisions align with business/mission objectives. Participate in strategic planning, advising on network capacity, scalability, and emerging technology solutions. Mentorship and Leadership: Serve as a technical leader and mentor to junior network engineers and administrators. Develop and deliver training sessions on related technologies and best practices. Lead technical teams in large-scale projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to best practices. Research and Development: Stay up to date on emerging trends in network architectures. Evaluation and analysis of new technologies (or upgrades to existing technologies) and products with an emphasis on improving service availability and cost reduction as well as implementation recommendations. Participate in continuous learning and certification programs (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, NVIDIA, etc.) to maintain a deep understanding of various vendor technologies. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be cleared at TS/SCI Full-Scope poly level. Certifications (minimum one): CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDP, JNCIS-ENT, JNCIS-SP, JNCIS-DevOps, RCNI, ECP Ability to lead complex, large-scale network projects from initiation and planning through execution and closing. 10 years combined experience with: networking, firewalls, best practices / standards, security / STIG requirements, design life cycle and documentation In-depth experience and understanding of L3 protocols to include MPLS VPN, BGP, OSPF, QoS, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, multicast (PIM-SM / PIM-DM) and L2 protocols such as spanning tree, RSTP, MSTP, IGMP, 802.1x and data center technologies (SDN, NFV, HCI, intent-based networking, spine-leaf topologies). In-depth experience with load-balancing methodologies and application delivery controllers (F5, Cisco, Citrix) In-depth experience with Software Defined networking, AI, ML, automation (Ansible, Python, Puppet, etc). Design and deployment experience with Cisco/Brocade/Juniper/NVIDIA routing and switching products, as well as, firewall experience (Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto firewall) Experience with network management platforms and protocols such as SNMP, Sflow, Netconf. Job Description

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

This is a contract position located in Cameron, LA.

The E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Coordinator is responsible for client oversight and coordination of electrical, instrumentation, and controls construction activities in one of the various areas of a major LNG facility located in Cameron, LA. Areas include PTM, LFM, PIS, BOP, BOG, NRU, Tanks, & Marine. He or She is responsible for ensuring that construction work is performed according to the project requirements and expectations with specific attention to safety, schedule, budget, & quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily E&I construction tasks and teams for their respective area
  • Review all equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor to ensure they are adequate for available work fronts
  • Collaborate as a member of an IPMT (integrated project management team)
  • Interpret and explain technical information to other professionals
  • Report work progress, schedule, and other details using established project reporting tools
  • Review and ensure coordination is in place with subcontractor activities
  • Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
  • Prior to the start of work, review IWP (individual work packages) and P6 schedules submitted by the subcontractor to ensure their correct application in the field execution
  • Ensure the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for all activities
  • Directly participate in the HSE activities at site as defined in the Site HSE plan
  • Support the RFI (request for information) process to help drive timely solutions
  • Other needs as determined by project leadership
  • Employee has solid line direct reporting to the E&I Construction Manager and dotted line reporting to Area Construction Manager

Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of electrical & instrumentation experience in industrial construction of oil & gas facilities (required)
  • 10 or more years of supervisory experience with recent positions being at least a general foreman level (required)
  • Construction experience in an LNG facility (preferred but not required)
  • Experience working on Client side as representation in the field (preferred but not required)
  • Any state journeyman or master electrician license (preferred but not required)
  • NCCER industrial journeyman electrician, instrument fitter, or instrument technician certification (preferred but not required)
  • Completion of a relevant trade school program (preferred but not required)
  • OSHA 30 (preferred but not required)
  • Experience planning and executing work through the AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) process (preferred but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of NEC 70 and NEC 70E requirements (required)
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (required)
  • Ability to work within an IPMT team with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills (required)
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and direction with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution (required)
  • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (required)
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) (required)
  • Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record (required)
