Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and solutions in a way that builds trust
• Keep your truck organized, stocked, and job documentation accurate and complete
• Work independently while supporting teammates when jobs require extra hands
• Represent Shield professionally in the field — like it’s your own name on the truck

Qualifications:

• EPA 608 Certification (required)
• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential or light commercial)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Pride in workmanship — not just moving on to the next call
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Clear, professional communication with customers and coworkers

The compensation for this position can range from $65,000 - $150,000+ per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
