ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Contacts existing and prospective clients to assess their investment needs, acceptable risk level, develop an action plan and present solutions. Owns the client experience, efficiently handling sales and service, identifying sales and/or executing opportunities and making referrals to internal business partners as appropriate. Makes full disclosures required in conjunction with selling non-deposit investment products. Uses a consultative sales process to determine client needs, obtains commitment and proposes solutions with assistance from Financial Advisor or Manager as needed. Discusses benefits and risks as well as other product features pertaining to possible investment solutions for the client. Reviews portfolio activity with clients as well as proficiently explain portfolio performance against client's stated risk tolerance and independently conduct client meetings Resolve client inquiries, concerns and problems effectively and in a timely manner. Responsible for client retention and day-to-day client satisfaction. FSA's work closely with Financial Advisors (FA) to assist with identifying appropriate clients. The FSA will also refer prospects or clients to other channels as needed based on the client's investment goals. Develops and implements investment and insurance strategies for clients. Determines the best products to support such strategies. Presents sound financial recommendations and guidance to clients. Establishes individual financial plans based on client financial needs and objectives. JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

Financial Solutions Advisors (FSA) leverage technology and consultative sales processes to assist clients within their assigned segment. Financial Solutions Advisors will proactively reach out to targeted clients to provide ongoing service and support with their specific financial and investment goals. This position is responsible for delivering a high level of client service with the ultimate goal of helping clients achieve their financial goals and dreams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contacts existing and prospective clients to assess their investment needs, acceptable risk level, develop an action plan and present solutions.
  • Owns the client experience, efficiently handling sales and service, identifying sales and/or executing opportunities and making referrals to internal business partners as appropriate. Makes full disclosures required in conjunction with selling non-deposit investment products.
  • Uses a consultative sales process to determine client needs, obtains commitment and proposes solutions with assistance from Financial Advisor or Manager as needed. Discusses benefits and risks as well as other product features pertaining to possible investment solutions for the client.
  • Reviews portfolio activity with clients as well as proficiently explain portfolio performance against client's stated risk tolerance and independently conduct client meetings
  • Resolve client inquiries, concerns and problems effectively and in a timely manner. Responsible for client retention and day-to-day client satisfaction.
  • FSA's work closely with Financial Advisors (FA) to assist with identifying appropriate clients. The FSA will also refer prospects or clients to other channels as needed based on the client's investment goals.
  • Develops and implements investment and insurance strategies for clients. Determines the best products to support such strategies.
  • Presents sound financial recommendations and guidance to clients.
  • Establishes individual financial plans based on client financial needs and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2 years of related investment experience in brokerage environment required
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
  • Must currently possess Life and Health Insurance License - fixed annuity and variable annuity and be in good standing
  • Must currently possess FINRA Investment License(s) - Series 7, 63, 65/66 and be in good standing
  • Knowledge of the brokerage industry, types of investments, and investment terminology
  • Experienced level of understanding of other bank and affiliates' products and services
  • Ability to learn, understand and communicate all investment products and procedures of the company
  • Ability to identify opportunities to offer solutions through up/cross-selling of investment products
  • Ability to interact with individuals of widely divergent lifestyles
  • Moderate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
