About the Role: Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Banquets team as a Banquet Captain. In this role, candidates will supervise and oversee the service of the banquet functions as assigned by the Banquet Manager. What you will do: Lead the Banquets team in ensuring accurate set-up of all events spaces as well as lead the team during service to ensure the guest experience are meeting Four Seasons' standards Participate in the service, and removal of food during banquet functions by offering pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintaining knowledge of each selection's, origin, taste, and preparation method; communicating guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; checking completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order; transporting items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality and making self available to guests, clients, and group contacts to ensure satisfaction. Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise the work of food servers ensuring that that all cultural and core standards are met. Assist with administrative duties including closing banquet checks, and preparing supply requisitions. What you bring: Requires a working knowledge of banquet service, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. Knowledge of Four Season's cultural and core standards are preferred. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job. Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. Requires strong written and verbal skills. Ability to read and speak English. Must have ServSafe and Responsible Vendor certifications. Must have authorization to work in the United States. Contact case management and/or provider to assist with appropriate department placement for clinical services. Inform patient/guarantor of liability due, including prior balances and estimates for scheduled service, and collect payment if possible or refer to financial counseling as needed. Maximize point-of-service collection, meeting established registration collection goals. Provide directions to applicable areas of interest, such as the department where service will be provided, financial counselor, cafeteria, waiting rooms, restrooms, and parking area. Schedule and reschedule appointments for patients as needed, identifying open time slots and educating patient/guardian about available options for services. About the Role:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Banquets team as a Banquet Captain. In this role, candidates will supervise and oversee the service of the banquet functions as assigned by the Banquet Manager.

What you will do:

  • Lead the Banquets team in ensuring accurate set-up of all events spaces as well as lead the team during service to ensure the guest experience are meeting Four Seasons' standards

  • Participate in the service, and removal of food during banquet functions by offering pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintaining knowledge of each selection's, origin, taste, and preparation method; communicating guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen; checking completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order; transporting items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality and making self available to guests, clients, and group contacts to ensure satisfaction.

  • Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise the work of food servers ensuring that that all cultural and core standards are met.

  • Assist with administrative duties including closing banquet checks, and preparing supply requisitions.

What you bring:

  • Requires a working knowledge of banquet service, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.

  • Knowledge of Four Season's cultural and core standards are preferred.

  • Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.

  • Requires ability to operate

  • computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.

  • Requires strong written and verbal skills.

  • Ability to read and speak English.

  • Must have ServSafe and Responsible Vendor certifications.

  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.
