While inspection of the work in progress is inherent in this position, it not the total extent of the responsibility. In the role of Quality Assurance Construction Inspector, we'll count on you to: Review construction submittals, including design plans to validate contract compliance Monitor construction progress, recommend progress payments, attend construction management and review meetings, and prepare construction progress reports Maintain a log of all site inspections (to include each sequence of the 3-Phase QC meetings and inspections) and include this information in the weekly reports to the CO and COR Keep and maintain accurate and detailed written records of project progress during all stages of construction Maintain a detailed daily diary of all events, utilizing a bound logbook, AF Form 1477, for these records, which includes delivery of material and equipment that occurs at the jobsite or elsewhere that affects or may be expected to affect the construction progress.
