FLSA Status: Exempt Location of Work: Oklahoma City, OK Schedule: Full-time Position Summary: VASU is responsible for, among other things, providing direct services, resources, and referrals to victims of crime; ensuring grant awards administered by the OAG are property expended; certifying and monitoring domestic violence/sexual assault programs and batterers intervention programs; and facilitating trainings for law enforcement agencies, certified programs, and other stakeholders to help better assist victims. VASU's Assistant Attorney General provides counsel to the unit's Director and its staff. Essential Functions: Ensure all legal requirements of VASU's programs and other responsibilities and tasks are met. Review and provide guidance to the OAG on administrative rules, legislation, and proposed bills for impacts on VASU and/or victims.
