About the role: As an Industrial Regional Sales Manager, you'll be the front-line representative for strategic accounts, driving customer value and accelerated growth. About the role:

As an Industrial Regional Sales Manager, you'll be the front-line representative for strategic accounts, driving customer value and accelerated growth. You'll build pipelines, win new logos, manage key accounts, and pursue new projects through in-person engagement. Leveraging resources such as inside sales, distribution partners, and technical experts, you'll create and execute a winning go-to-market strategy.

Reporting to the Division Sales Manager, you'll manage a defined territory (North Texas, West Oklahoma, or West Kansas) - selling to both existing and new industrial customers to expand market share. Travel:

RSMs are usually on the road visiting customers at a minimum Tue-Thur. You will have a company car (that can be used personally!). Travel expected for this role is 75% with overnights at company-approved hotels and all travel, lodging, and meals are covered by the company!

In this role, a typical day will look like :

  • Develop monthly sales territory and account plans to achieve assigned targets

  • Prepare and present a monthly funnel review and forecasts applying SFDC to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans, and command of the account base

  • Establish and manage relationships with engineering firms and other accounts that indirectly influence the buying decisions of our customers

  • Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends, and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business review

  • Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations/evaluations, customer seminars, and channel management

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience including B2B selling of complex industrial products and solutions utilizing a CRM (ie: Salesforce.com)

  • Familiarity with one or more of these markets: Power, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Power, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Industrial Water Treatment, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent is a plus; a Master's an asset

  • Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record

  • Formal sales training and/or experience in Question Based Selling, Value Selling, Sandler, and other sales methodologies is a plus!
