Job Purpose The Infotainment Software Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, conducting and reviewing testing activities to ensure the correct operation of the vehicle infotainment systems and driver Apps. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance function to ensure safe working conditions and to meet or exceed regulatory compliance. Maintenance will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Perform advanced mechanical repairs at our buildings, including plumbing, lighting, heating, air conditioning, farm equipment maintenance, etc. Check, install, and repair equipment which includes, chain feed systems, line auger feed systems, Rotem controllers, watering systems, ventilation systems, generators, wells and septic systems. Other duties include: repairing wooden structures, working with chicken wire, replacing electrical and plumbing fixtures, cutting Plexiglas to fit aluminum frames, routine maintenance on buildings, greasing equipment, checking to ensure equipment is operating properly and repairing if needed, working with PVC waterline and fittings, installing cat6 wiring and security cameras, installing PVC electrical conduit, pulling electrical wires through conduit, cleaning floor drains, delivering parts to different locations, picking up supplies from vendors, attending morning meetings, engaging in safety videos and training, sweeping up work area, emptying trash cans, safety checks of emergency lighting, GFI outlets and fire extinguishers, putting inventory away and organizing stockroom. Expectations for the employee include working with other maintenance team members until competent and learning how our proprietary equipment works and how to repair it. Qualifications: Proficient knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, flooring, masonry, electrical, welding, roofing, machinery, mechanics, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Must be able to use basic hand tools. This work includes managing and supervising the Legal Division, as well as overseeing specific legal functions like litigation, contract review, department policies, open records requests, ad valorem, bankruptcy, collection cases, among others. DGCs assist the General Counsel in developing legal strategy and policy for the agency. This position supervises attorneys and staff of the Legal Division, as assigned. The DGC will receive limited supervision, is given considerable freedom from technical and administrative oversight, and has a substantial amount of responsibility in planning and organizing his or her own work. Job Purpose

The Infotainment Software Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, conducting and reviewing testing activities to ensure the correct operation of the vehicle infotainment systems and driver Apps.

Responsibilities (80s of the Position)

  • Plan, Develop and execute test cases for infotainment systems and driver apps
  • Specify and plan installation of test equipment and facilities
  • Develop scripts to automate the User Interface
  • Verify all infotainment related features and functions before software is deployed to customer vehicles
  • Create Test to requirements coverage matrix for infotainment features
  • Automation of test cases and test environment to achieve "lights out" testing
  • Support debug of software issues at HIL bench and vehicle level
  • Support testing across all vehicle areas
  • Find software bugs through manual testing, automated scripting and report investigation

Required Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Software engineering, Electrical/Electronic engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics including, Navigation systems, phone connectivity, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Radio and Multimedia
  • Experience with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS)
  • Good understanding of infotainment related use cases/user stores for vehicle app, navigation, comfort, Productivity, Entertainment from OEMs
  • Capable of carrying out wiring/debugging HIL issues
  • Experience working in Polarion and JIRA
  • Experience with low-level and high-level programming languages (C/C++ and Python preferred)

Preferred Experience

  • OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
  • Experience with HIL tools such as Dspace/NI/Tracetronic ECUTEST/Vector CANoe
  • SW testing certifications
