Overview
Job Description
We are partnered with a well-established and highly respected security and life safety systems contractor who is actively seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join their growing team! This company prides itself on supporting employee growth and fostering an outstanding work environment.
Qualifications for Fire Alarm Technician:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years’ experience installing and servicing alarm and security systems
- Knowledge of alarm system components, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72 and National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- NICET (preferred)
