The right candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the office reception area, properly receiving office customers and handling incoming telephone calls with polished telephone etiquette.   • As the Escrow Receptionist progresses in on-the-job training under the direction of a supervisor or co-worker, as well as with formalized training, she/he should be able to perform the following additional tasks:

  • Prepare earnest money receipts

  • Send prepared "Thank You" notes/opening letters to agents, if applicable

  • Order listing kits and/or farm kits

  • Open, sort and file daily mail

  • Open orders

  • Prepare payoff/assumption statement requests

  • Complete simple close outs

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

  • Work overtime hours as requested in advance by the Branch Manager

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • The employee should have knowledge of basic real estate/escrow/title terminology
