The Behavioral Health Clinician in the Child Guidance program is primarily responsible for providing counseling and intervention services to children and their families, facilitating the early identification of children with psychological, social, emotional, or behavioral issues; providing psychoeducation, prevention; training and education as well as consultation with parents and professionals on techniques to promote optimal social-emotional development. In addition, the clinician collaborates with community organizations to ensure systems are in place to enhance families' parenting needs and capacity to support optimal social emotional development of children and serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team to monitor the effectiveness of behavioral health services. The clinician will demonstrate capacity for providing evidence based/informed, developmentally sensitive, trauma informed supports and services for families, children and partners/professionals while exemplifying the values expected within the program and for promoting the mission of the organization. This position is responsible for providing clients with diagnostic and therapeutic services in the areas of behavior and social emotional development. Services are provided for clients in a clinic-based setting. Services may include behavioral screenings, evaluations, treatment, and parent education. Minimum Qualifications: The Behavioral Health Clinician job family consists of five levels which are distinguished by the level of complexity of specific job assignments, the extent of responsibility assigned for specific tasks, the level of expertise required for completion of the assigned work and the responsibility assigned for providing leadership to others. This is the specialist level where employees are assigned responsibilities for performing advanced assessment and treatment services such as a highly specialized clinical service. This level has overall responsibility for assigned mental and behavioral health services and functions. Requirements at this level consist of a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, human relations, clinical/direct practice social work, or a closely related field which must have included one semester of at least three hundred hours of applied clinical practicum in psychology or counseling. The incumbent is required to have three years of qualifying experience and must have a passing score on the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Certification or hold a current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Behavior Practitioner (LBP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), Licensed Health Service Psychologist (HSP); Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or a doctorate in psychology or education with a specialty in clinical, counseling, or school psychology, including one academic year of full time pre-doctoral internship from an accredited program listed by the American Psychological Association at the time of completion. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Based Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health, Infant Mental Health Specialist (IMH-E) OR Infant Mental Health endorsement preferred. If not Endorsed at hire, will pursue Endorsement as an Infant Mental Health Specialist within two years. Trained in the use of trauma Informed treatment modalities (TF-CBT, CPP, etc.). Experience in infant and early childhood assessment and intervention. Experience working with families of children, ages birth up to age 18, with an emphasis on relationship-based work with children ages 0-6. About You

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, information technology, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in health information technology, healthcare marketing, or commercial field

  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business value for healthcare stakeholders

Preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare IT platforms, particularly EHR systems (Epic certification a plus)

  • Experience evaluating clinical workflows and implementing technology-based optimizations

  • Background working with an HIT vendor, digital health company, or health system IT department

  • Strong project management skills with ability to drive complex initiatives
