What You'll Do

  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement opportunities where applicable
  • Drive process improvements based on performance analysis and lessons learned
  • Provide technical support regarding plant equipment, process efficiency, and plant wide safety
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Develop solutions and improvements to equipment and processes
  • Responsible for process stabilization and improvement in all shop areas
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering on capital projects and commissioning of new equipment

What You'll Need

  • Experience in Polymer extrusion, plastic additives, polymer testing, R&D experimentation and analysis is a plus
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced continually changing environment
  • Ability to work with teams and different departments
  • Able to communicate, verbally and written, with operators, supervisors, maintenance, suppliers, management, and plant support staff
  • Ability to track, chart, and improve processes
  • Ability to motivate and organize multiple efforts to accomplish goals

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • A degree in Science or Engineering (Polymer, Chemical, or Mechanical) is strongly preferred
