Erdman. The Camp Director of Retreats and Family Programs will assume ownership of Camp Erdman’s Teen programs as well as assist in various Teen events year round. This position aligns all programs with the strategic goals of the YMCA of Honolulu, and is responsible for annual goals for program, financial, and personnel performance. This position reports to the Senior Program Director at Camp Erdman. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Book and retain retreat and family groups, in-line with agreed upon, annual goals.  Develop and manage departmental budgets across all retreat and family programs, in-line with agreed upon, annual goals. Hire, onboard, train, manage, evaluate, and retain staff members across all retreat and family programs, in-line with agreed upon, annual goals. Assist in creating, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating all retreat and family programs, in-line with agreed upon, annual goals. Lead the direct supervision of all seasonal staff for retreat and family programs while participants are in camp or otherwise in program. In conjunction with other Camp Director’s, assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the pool and various camp-owned vehicles. This position requires the Director to live on-site, year-round at Camp Erdman, in housing as assigned by the Branch Executive Director. Participate in the management, maintenance, and operation of other YMCA Camp Erdman facilities, as assigned by the Executive Director. Participate in, and support all philanthropic activities at Camp Erdman, as assigned, with particular attention to the Annual Support Campaign. Performance measured in-line with agreed upon, annual goals. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for food preparation and stocking Juice Bar Grab N Go.
  • Ensures self-serve station is fully stocked (Spoons, Forks, Knifes etc.).
  • Maintains Juice Bar cleanliness.
  • Keeps merchandise clean and ready to be displayed.
  • Oversees inventory and ensure items are stocked in Gym Store.
  • Responsible for hitting individual sales goals assigned to you by the Merchandise Supervisor.
  • Greets and assists customers and advises on utilization and care of merchandise.

Qualifications

  • Ensures that guests and members are warmly greeted and promptly assisted.
  • Ensures incoming calls are answered in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Responds effectively to member questions and requests.
