Job Summary:The Satellite Terminal oversees the daily execution and overall performance of station operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence. This role partners closely with the Director of Network Operations to lead teams, manage workflows, and maintain operational and financial controls.This position requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. The Satellite Terminal Manager plays a key role in aligning operational execution with customer expectations and business objectives. We enable the MLC to deepen customer relationships by applying our expertise across many verticals (ocean, air, road, final mile, etc.). Through our vast network of contacts and partners, we offer a buffet of complex services that most MLCs are unable to easily offer on their own. Acting as the MLC, Naniq is able to capture incremental profit and deepen relationships with shippers - all to the benefit of the partnered MLC.Pay Range:$85,600 - $137,000 per year DOEIn compliance with Hawaii pay transparency expectations, the posted range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and proceduresCoordinate with other terminals to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of freightCoordinate with R&M, Sales and IT to ensure daily operations are efficientSupport planning, direction, and oversight of daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and service qualityEnsure consistent execution of freight forwarding and dispatch functionsMonitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time performanceAssist in managing operational and financial performance metricsLead, coach, and support frontline employees in alignment with company standardsReinforce safety practices and operational compliance requirementsAssist with scheduling, staffing, and performance managementOversee operational activities including shipment coordination and tracking, inbound/outbound scheduling and alerts, proof of delivery (POD) processing, customer communication and rate quotingReview billing accuracy, invoicing, and cost/revenue analysisSupport Accounts Payable/Receivable and claims resolution processesEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable federal and Hawaii state regulationsCoordinate with HR to recruit, hire, train, coach and discipline employeesIdentify process improvement opportunities and support implementationParticipate in operational audits and project initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportationDemonstrated understanding of operations management, financial principles, and team leadershipAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong communication and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)10 years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations10 years Supervisory experience in a high-volume or multi-site environmentFamiliarity with freight forwarding, dispatch systems, or transportation management systems (TMS)Experience with operational reporting and performance metrics

Ability to pass required background checks, including employer, customer, and/or SIDA background

Physical Requirements:Primarily office-based with regular interaction in the warehouse and operational environments.
