Commercial Drywall/Paint Project Manager Our client is a specialty construction contractor focused on the light gauge metal framing, gypsum board, painting, plastering and acoustical ceiling industry. Due to expansion and growth we are seeking Project Managers and Project Engineers to join their growing team. This position requires a highly motivated individual who possesses a comprehensive understanding and a proven track record in managing projects from beginning to end, understanding specifications, knowledge of material and labor costs, use of production rates, blue-print reading skills, and electronic bidding and take-off solutions, strong communication skills and ability to lead teams.Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and organizing the project, including creating a schedule, setting project goals, and determining the necessary resources and materials.
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenses to ensure the project stays within budgetary constraints.
• Hiring and managing a team of painters, drywall installers, and other personnel involved in the project.
• Coordinating and scheduling work activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Procuring materials and equipment needed for the project, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
• Monitoring and inspecting work progress to ensure it meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
• Handling any issues or obstacles that arise during the project, such as delays, conflicts, or changes in scope.
• Communicating with clients to provide updates on project progress, address any concerns or feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new products or techniques related to painting and drywall installation.
