Job Description
The Gig:
Virgin Voyages is committed to building leaders and driving value. Our FP&A organization aims to bring best-in-class insight generation, data-driven decision-making support and financial management to Virgin Voyages. This role will report to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and is based in the company's Plantation, FL headquarters.
As Director of FP&A, you will be the primary finance liaison to business leaders across the organization, including Commercial, Operations, Marine, and People functions. Your mission is to go beyond reporting and help shape decisions with financial and strategic insight. You will build strong relationships with leadership teams and act as a trusted thought partner to ensure decisions drive sustainable profitability and long-term growth.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys influencing at the executive level, and can translate complex financials into clear, actionable insights.
This gig is based at VVHQ - our swanky Virgin Voyages Head Office in Plantation, FL where we follow a hybrid work environment. We can't wait to 'sea' you in person during our Collaboration Days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, while you enjoy Mondays and Fridays' as remote days.
What You'll Be Up To:
Serve as the primary business partner for operational and commercial leaders, building close partnerships to bring financial discipline and insight to strategic decisions.
Generate actionable insights into revenue drivers, voyage/unit economics, cost efficiency, and productivity levers to optimize performance and profitability.
Partner with HR on headcount and labor planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Lead financial analysis for revenue and marketing initiatives.
Deliver financial insight and commentary based on a comprehensive view of divisional financial results and impacts and indicators on the broader enterprise.
Synthesize and communicate key financial and business insights at an executive-level to drive decision-making with operational executives.
Provide thought leadership and guidance to drive strategic business initiatives for divisional leadership teams.
Collaborate with the Director of Corporate FP&A to lead a financial planning process that strategically aligns resources for maximum value creation. This includes long term strategic planning, annual operating and capital budgets, forecasting and insights on actual results, with a focus on:
Drive process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of financial deliverables.
Create a high performing team and culture focused on value creation, delivering results, stakeholder influence and leadership development for career progression.
Play a critical role as a leader in the Finance organization, bringing an enterprise-level perspective to support the strategic, talent and process improvement efforts across the Finance organization.

SuperPowers Required:
Outstanding academic credentials; Bachelor's degree required; MBA, graduate finance degree and/or CFA strongly preferred.
8+ years' experience in leading teams with financial planning and analysis responsibilities (role has team of 2-3 people).
Outstanding analytical skills with ability to synthesize information, develop insights and communicate effectively in presentations and in person meetings.
Deep curiosity and passion for understanding and analyzing financial results in the context of creating shareholder value.
Excellent communication skills with significant experience working with, or as, CFO, senior executives and third party clients.
