Title: Radiology Technologist Location: Saint Joseph, MI Duration: 13 weeks contract (Possibilities of Extension) Schedule Notes: Nights 22:30 – 07:00 (5*8)hours shift. 40 hours/weekly. Non-Taxable Stipend is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility Duties:

• Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care of all equipment.
• Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients, providing immobilization devices, and selecting proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.
• Restricts radiation beam through cone and collimating devices to prevent exposure to unaffected body parts.
• Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms.
• Identifies patient films correctly with name, x-ray number, and side markers.
• Develops exposed x-ray films using available processing methods.
• Completes patient requisitions with required documentation.

Required Education:

• Associates degree or graduate of Accredited Radiography School
• Bachelors – preferred.

Requirements:

• ARRT(R)
• BLS - AHA
