This position has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The incumbent accepts accountability, applies competent clinical knowledge skills, and uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by health care providers to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. Performs the duties and responsibilities within the scope of a Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I, as defined within the job description. The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills at the advanced beginner level necessary to provide care that is relevant to the patient(s) under their care, as well as apply principles of growth and development over the life span. The incumbent also must possess the ability to assess and interpret patient data needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs. This role provides professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a registered professional nurse OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of nursing experience. Participates in developing strategies to promote healthy communities and practice environments. Recognizes strategies to improve nursing quality. Provides critical review and/or evaluation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to improve quality of healthcare. Demonstrates understanding of importance of data collection and utilization. Disseminates educational findings, experiences, and ideas with peers. Engages in activities related to nurse sensitive indicators to enhance quality of care. Participates in continuing professional development. Identifies ethical situations and seeks assistance of appropriate colleagues. Identifies ways to maintain and improve ethical environment of the work setting conducive to safe, quality health care. Adheres to the moral and legal rights of patients. Engages in opportunities for work/life balance. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. They must also meet the required years of nursing experience, degree, and certification to apply for the next level. Celanese - is seeking a dynamic and analytical Supply Chain Production Scheduler that executes scheduling routines to support and meet the company strategy, company performance objectives and customer expectations, in addition to adherence to global processes and business rules.  This position will be responsible for plans and establish finite production schedules to ensure product availability and achieve target business line service levels.  Monitors materials inventories , tracks progress of production, daily meetings with production team, weekly meetings with planners to ensure alignment, run root cause analysis when needed, issue and respond to alerts, and close communication with customer service, manufacturing, and raw material teams. Responsibilities: Convert the weekly level master production plan into daily production schedule and optimize the production sequence to meet defined objectives. Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize the schedule, handle execution level changes, and align on future maintenance plan / calendars and specific manufacturing requirements. Conduct scenario management based on exceptions and constraint violations. Collaborate with planning to mitigate any unplanned plant interruptions or to handle rush supply requests. Analyze scheduling metrics, conduct root cause analysis and report schedule performance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Supply Planner/Master Production Scheduler, Warehouse/Logistics teams, Customer Service and Plant Operations Management) to mitigate any supply related risks. Maintain scheduling related master data, both in SAP and Advanced Planning System (Blue Yonder) (e.g., SKU-machine mappings, changeover matrices, run rates, minimum run sizes). Manage scheduling related master data as per set governance. Support improvements to local/global scheduling related projects or Blue Yonder tool improvements. Competencies: Anticipates and responds quickly to changes. Constantly challenges status-quo in the pursuit of improved scheduling efficiencies. Reinforces a resilient can-do mentality and pushes for bold actions to deliver on commitments and overcome roadblocks. Demonstrates courage to make decisions and manages conflicts in order to move things forward and drive execution. Good communication and networking skills. Strong systems knowledge and competence with supply chain tools including Excel. Ability to think in scenarios and manage uncertainty. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. 4-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing operations and/or supply chain planning role. 1-2 years of Finite Scheduling experience (E.g.: Combination of raw material, deployment from plant to warehouse (finished goods), and execution). Experience with SAP MRP scheduling preferred. APICS certification preferred. Experience w/ advanced planning / scheduling solutions preferred (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder). Experience in a chemical compounding environment preferred. Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills required. This position has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The incumbent accepts accountability, applies competent clinical knowledge skills, and uses independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by health care providers to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. Performs the duties and responsibilities within the scope of a Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I, as defined within the job description.

The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills at the advanced beginner level necessary to provide care that is relevant to the patient(s) under their care, as well as apply principles of growth and development over the life span. The incumbent also must possess the ability to assess and interpret patient data needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs. This role provides professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

  1. Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a registered professional nurse OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

  2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

The CAPE program is a system-wide clinical advancement program (clinical ladder) to enhance professional development, provide a reward system for quality clinical performance, promote quality nursing, and improve job satisfaction for inpatient direct care nurses.

To apply for the next level, the CAPE nurse must meet the requirements of their current level. They must also meet the required years of nursing experience, degree, and certification to apply for the next level. In addition, nurses who are approved for levels 3, 4, 5, or 6 must complete and submit five competencies on an annual basis to maintain their current level.

  • Required competencies to include demonstration of regularly being a charge nurse and/or precepting new staff or nursing students
  • Required competencies to include demonstration of participation in QI and shared governance at the organization level

Level 6

  • Available to those with an MSN or higher degree with 7 or more years of experience. Consideration is given to other health-related advanced degrees that would assist with direct patient care at the bedside
  • One specialty certification is required
  • Required competencies to include demonstration of regularly being a charge nurse and/or precepting new staff or nursing students
  • Required competencies to include demonstration of participation in QI and shared governance at the system level
