Midstream I&E Supervisor in Pennsboro, WV

• Direct Hire / Full-Time
• 25% Office / 75% Field
• Travel: Regular travel to field operations (approximately 75% of the time)

Are you an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical professional ready to lead a high-performing team in the midstream natural gas industry? We're seeking a hands-on Midstream I&E Supervisor to oversee the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of instrumentation, electrical, controls, and SCADA systems while leading a skilled team of I&E technicians.

In this leadership role, you'll drive operational excellence by ensuring compliance with safety standards, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and industry best practices while supporting critical field operations.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and supervise Instrumentation & Electrical personnel and contractors while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Oversee commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of instrumentation, electrical, PLC, RTU, and SCADA systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, API RP 500, American Gas Association standards, and company safety procedures.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Best Management Practices (BMPs), and task-specific work procedures.
• Participate in Pre-Start Safety Reviews (PSSR) and support safe startup of new and modified facilities.
• Monitor system performance, identify equipment issues, and perform Root Cause Failure Analysis to improve reliability.
• Partner with contractors to enhance software functionality and build internal programming expertise.
• Train and mentor team members on instrumentation, electrical systems, and operational best practices.
• Manage departmental operating and capital budgets while maintaining cost-effective operations.
• Supervise hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Instrumentation & Electrical experience in the natural gas industry or related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, AC/DC electrical systems, and instrumentation controls.
• Experience interpreting P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop sheets, one-line drawings, and panel drawings.
• Working knowledge of NEC, API RP 500, and American Gas Association standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
