Primary Functions • This individual will report directly to the onsite dispatcher/terminal manager. • This position will require a qualified individual to operate the following equipment: van, tractor with 7000g liquid bulk tanker, tractor with 53ft. van trailer, 26ft box truck with a lift gate. • The van will be used to transport IBCs (250g and 330g totes) to customer location, where they will then be pumped off, via diaphragm pump, into customer’s storage tank. Should have knowledge of using air and vane pumps the candidate must be well versed in using manual transmission 10 or 13 speed. Able to do some overnights • The 7000g liquid bulk tanker is used to make bulk liquid deliveries. • The van trailer is used to deliver both hazmat and non-hazmat materials • The box truck with lift gate is used to make both hazmat and non-hazmat deliveries. • PPE must be worn at all times when handling hazmat material. • This is not solely a driving position as there will be warehouse duties as well, including forklift operation, inventory management, truck loading and unloading, and other additional duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The Transportation Driver is responsible for transporting clients in a safe and efficient manner consistent with the organizational mission and vision and in compliance with company policy, state and federal DOT regulations and applicable laws. Specific responsibilities include driving company vehicles, interacting with clients, program personnel, and client support staff in the field, communicating with dispatch in a clear and concise manner, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in the field. This position generally follows a typical Monday through Friday work week and is considered a split shift position with AM runs in the morning and PM runs in the afternoon into the evening.   • Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3 years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 3-5 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
  • Minimum 3 years of licensed driving history

 

Compensation: 

  • $17.50-$19.00
