What is a Store Driver? Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role has the responsibility to deliver parts to our commercial customers and assist with task and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part time or full time and must be fleet safety certified. Job Description The Driver is responsible to safely transport corporate guests and team members to requested locations, including but not limited to corporate operated buildings and various airports. Job type is hourly and is as needed to meet corporation demands. Job Responsibilities Proper inspection and documentation of assigned vehicle prior to each trip. Fueling assigned vehicle before and/or after each trip to maintain a full gas tank. If vehicle is rented, confirm proper paperwork is in the vehicle. Assist driver coordinator in scheduled preventative maintenance and appearance of company owned and rented vehicles. For example, report any service lights, low or worn tires, exterior or interior damage. Assist driver coordinator with confirming vehicle and trip accuracy. Attentive to special requests to ensure comfort and safety of the passengers. Contacting passenger prior to pick up to confirm location and assist passenger with loading/unloading luggage. Assist with scheduled driving tours if needed by the event coordinator. For example, help in guiding passengers, take photos, perform roll call. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and privacy. Compliance with client confidentially agreement. Qualifications Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer-oriented skills. Customer Service Drives delivery vehicle to transport parts to commercial customers, including the loading and unloading of parts Picks up returns, cores and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Assist do it yourself customers in the store between deliveries Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies Handle cash and charge transactions per company policy Maintain product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information resources Position Requirements Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and able to meet AutoZone's driver requirements.
