Accurately navigate a tractor trailer using instructions, maps or GPS, to a wide variety of locations both on road and off. Properly wear and safely use PPE. Properly record hours worked using an ELD in compliance with Hours of Service regulations. Documenting equipment pick up and deliveries. Ensuring accuracy of pickup and delivery. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A CDL with Tank endorsement. Valid DOT Med Cert with Non-Excepted Interstate self-certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating lowboy trailers and transporting heavy equipment preferred. Hazardous Materials endorsement on CDL preferred, but not required. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and best practices for equipment transport. Ability to operate equipment during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic mechanical skills for minor truck and trailer maintenance. Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to read, understand and navigate using paper and/or digital maps. Ability to sit for long periods of time.
