Duties & Responsibilities: Shuttle commercial vehicles to be repaired or post repairs between our maintenance shop and our customers in the surrounding area - be home every evening . Pick up and deliver parts from local parts stores/distribution centers back to our maintenance shop. Provide excellent customer service by going above and beyond customers’ expectations. Contributes to achievement of Maintenance Shop department goals and objectives . Make parts runs to parts stores and deliver to shops and mobile techs. Assist with Bert in maintaining the parts shelves for the techs. Assist with shop cleanliness. Pick up customer trailers with our tractor and deliver to shop and other yards. Pick up and deliver customer trucks. Maintains a safe and compliant working environment. Attends management meetings when requested . Other duties as assigned to meet business requirements. Requirements High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; or 5 years’ experience in a related field. Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license . Candidate must hold a valid state-of-residence CDL-A driver’s license, be able to obtain and maintain their Driver Qualification File . ) . Between 1 and 3 years of CDL driving experience. The ability to lift to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to read/follow maps, routes, and GPS system. Experience in positions demonstrating the ability to provide exceptional customer service to external and internal contacts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Dependable, organized and committed. Positive attitude, good instincts, and self-motivation Familiarity with the local geography. High energy, a positive attitude, adaptability, and strong work ethic. What You’ll Do:

You will drive our vehicles around our airport lots, depending on the location, from customer check-in, car wash, spaces ready for our customers to rent, maintenance and other lots as directed, all while following our processes and driving our cars safely.

As a Pick Your Shift employee, you’ll begin with a scheduled, paid onboarding session where you’ll meet the team and get introduced to Avis Budget Group. During your onboarding, you will complete role-specific online learning and in-person skill assessments, giving you the tools to be successful in your role. Once you’ve completed onboarding and training, you’ll be ready to start selecting the shifts that work best for you.
