If selected for this position, the company will continuously monitor Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs). A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR status and a valid driver’s license. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Delivers customer orders safely within a service area, including interfacing with customers on order issues. Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using powered and non-powered material handling equipment. Reviews order manifests to ensure customer orders and daily routes are complete and accurate. Performs pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and internal policies and procedures. Maintains routine contact with the distribution center to receive instructions on delivery interruptions, such as traffic congestion or missing orders. Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records in accordance with company policies and procedures. Contacts customers to provide updates on delivery statuses. Provides feedback to management on escalated customer service and sales-related issues. Nature and Scope Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor. Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor. Work Environment Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility. Bus Driver/Janitor Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Coordinate and conduct maintenance of vehicles to include seasonal start up inspections, routine maintenance, and final inspections of vehicle (s). Maintain a current list of children transported and ensure daily attendances are taken of children transported for accountability and security. Participate in the child safety check at the beginning and ending of each route, ensuring that all children are secured properly, addressing any safety concerns prior to transporting of children, reporting any concerns to Center Manager verbally and in writing and ensuring that no child is ever left alone on the bus. Based on the PFCE, serves as a liaison between families and program staff by reporting any family information/concerns communicated during route to the appropriate core team member and Center Manager. Complete all required paperwork to include maintaining and tracking vehicle operating expenditures (mileage, gas usage, oil usage), maintenance repairs, etc., in a timely manner. With the assistance of Bus Monitor and the CM, conduct bus evacuation drills monthly, document results and submit report to the Center Manager. Maintain the center in a clean and sanitary condition as per cleaning schedule timelines and UMOS procedures that include but are not limited to emptying trash, pick up debris, clean and sanitize bathrooms, sweep/ vacuum, mop, and wax floors, and conduct monthly upkeep of central air heating and cooling systems. Maintain outside building grounds, including lawn cutting, fence and sidewalk trimming, touch-up painting, power washing, debris pick-up and ice treatment and/or snow removal when necessary. Conduct daily inspection of playground and playground equipment that includes the removal of debris or potentially harmful plants, documenting the playground inspection daily and timely submittal of Daily Playground Inspection Form to Center Manager. Transports and assists with supervision of children and parents during parent meetings, field trips, at health clinics and as assigned. Participates in training for serving children with disabilities or special needs (ex. children with wheelchairs or special car seats, children with allergies) in accordance with the child’s IFSP and/or IEP. Assist with recruitment plan activities, including recruiting children with disabilities. Provide support or T/TA to other locations with some travel requirements. Develop bus routes in coordination with Family Services and Center Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid CDL Certification with passenger and school bus endorsements. Ability to work irregular and/or flexible hours. May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites. Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety. Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate. May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment. Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license. Performs other duties as needed. Job Description

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience delivering merchandise to customers using a box truck or similar vehicle.

  • 1+ years of experience operating material handling equipment.

  • No more than 2 minor accidents in the past rolling 3 years.

  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past rolling 3 years.

  • Wholesale distribution experience.

Job Summary

Makes deliveries to customers using a company-provided or rental vehicle. Maintains records of deliveries, inspects and maintains delivery vehicles, and provides customer service on order and delivery issues. This position requires operation of a company or rental vehicle, and this operation may be done during the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will continuously monitor Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs). A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR status and a valid driver’s license.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Delivers customer orders safely within a service area, including interfacing with customers on order issues.
  • Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
  • Reviews order manifests to ensure customer orders and daily routes are complete and accurate.
  • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintains routine contact with the distribution center to receive instructions on delivery interruptions, such as traffic congestion or missing orders.
  • Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contacts customers to provide updates on delivery statuses. 
  • Provides feedback to management on escalated customer service and sales-related issues.

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment

  • Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
