Position Overview: As an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience, you will play a vital role in the care and education of our youngest learners. You will work with infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment that promotes their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infant development, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm and nurturing environment where infants feel safe, loved, and secure.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide responsive and individualized care to meet the unique needs of each infant.
  • Foster positive relationships with infants, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
  • Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies related to health, safety, and sanitation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; CDA, Associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass background checks required by state regulations.
