Join our team as a Field Service Technician specializing in cryogenic systems. You will be responsible for the safe and effective installation, maintenance, and repair of on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk medical or industrial gas systems across the Mid-America Region. This role requires significant travel (75%) and adherence to all federal, state, and local codes, as well as Airgas policies. Install and maintain on-site nitrogen generation equipment. Install cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites. Repair pressure reduction equipment associated with bulk delivery systems. Analyze and repair electrical systems related to N2 generation and cryogenic installations. Install decals and warning signs for proper identification of hazards and operational settings. Install piping systems according to company SOPs. Conduct site surveys to ensure compliance with all applicable codes. Perform preventative maintenance on N2 generation equipment. Conduct annual inspections of bulk installation sites. Adhere to and enforce safety policies and procedures. Maintain an inventory of necessary repair parts. ____ Are you a MATCH? College or technical degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostics and/or repair in cryogenics, high-pressure piping, brazing, programmable controls, and process instrumentation. Experience with bulk gas delivery systems, pumps, or mechanical machinery. Experience in HVAC or plumbing with welding/brazing skills is a plus. Ability to understand piping and tank details from manuals and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of standards set by CGA, NFPA, NEC, and other regulatory bodies. Strong math skills and ability to calculate figures and units of measure. Customer service oriented with professional communication skills. Valid driver's license and clean DMV report; DOT physical may be required. Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 3-5 days at a time. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs routinely and 51-80 lbs occasionally with material handling equipment. Join our team as a Field Service Technician specializing in cryogenic systems. You will be responsible for the safe and effective installation, maintenance, and repair of on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk medical or industrial gas systems across the Mid-America Region. This role requires significant travel (75%) and adherence to all federal, state, and local codes, as well as Airgas policies.

  • Install and maintain on-site nitrogen generation equipment.

  • Install cryogenic bulk installations at Airgas facilities and customer sites.

  • Repair pressure reduction equipment associated with bulk delivery systems.

  • Analyze and repair electrical systems related to N2 generation and cryogenic installations.

  • Install decals and warning signs for proper identification of hazards and operational settings.

  • Install piping systems according to company SOPs.

  • Conduct site surveys to ensure compliance with all applicable codes.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on N2 generation equipment.

  • Conduct annual inspections of bulk installation sites.

  • Adhere to and enforce safety policies and procedures.

  • Maintain an inventory of necessary repair parts.

Are you a MATCH?

  • College or technical degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostics and/or repair in cryogenics, high-pressure piping, brazing, programmable controls, and process instrumentation.

  • Experience with bulk gas delivery systems, pumps, or mechanical machinery.

  • Experience in HVAC or plumbing with welding/brazing skills is a plus.

  • Ability to understand piping and tank details from manuals and mechanical drawings.

  • Knowledge of standards set by CGA, NFPA, NEC, and other regulatory bodies.

  • Strong math skills and ability to calculate figures and units of measure.

  • Customer service oriented with professional communication skills.

  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV report; DOT physical may be required.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 3-5 days at a time.

  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs routinely and 51-80 lbs occasionally with material handling equipment.

  • Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift, and maintain certifications.
