Electrical Drafters create/layout complex electrical wire harness routing in a 3D environment. Model complex 3D parts, weldments, castings, and assemblies for manufacturing. Electrical Drafters document connectors by modeling 3D models, adding coordinate systems, and creating 2D drawings for manufacturing. Electrical Drafters create Printed Circuit Board (PCB) drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagram drawings. Create ECM's and Work Orders for design teams and have responsibility for the quality control of them. Create and maintain SAP part information and Bill of Materials including the setting up or changing the Item Status Indicators, Service Ratings, Part Hierarchy and Creating Data Classification What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Drafting, Drafting Design Bachelor's Degree with Mechanical/Electrical engineering technology related disciplines preferred. What Will You Do?

  • Create and process engineering change requests utilizing engineering sketches and annotated drawings. Electrical Drafters create/layout complex electrical wire harness routing in a 3D environment.
  • Model complex 3D parts, weldments, castings, and assemblies for manufacturing. Electrical Drafters document connectors by modeling 3D models, adding coordinate systems, and creating 2D drawings for manufacturing.
  • Electrical Drafters create Printed Circuit Board (PCB) drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagram drawings.
  • Create ECM's and Work Orders for design teams and have responsibility for the quality control of them.
  • Create and maintain SAP part information and Bill of Materials including the setting up or changing the Item Status Indicators, Service Ratings, Part Hierarchy and Creating Data Classification

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Drafting, Drafting Design
  • Bachelor's Degree with Mechanical/Electrical engineering technology related disciplines preferred.
  • Five (5) plus years of experience
  • Understand the application of basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with CAD software
