Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Associate Actuary completes the most diverse and complicated projects and performs highly complex actuarial studies.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs key actuarial functions related to cost of care, understanding impact of provider and govt regulation changes and special projects.
  • Designs and completes special projects such as understanding changes in cost and utilization at a claim level
  • Responsible for educating and making recommendations on changes in expense and utilization that impacts the profitability of the business
  • Responsible to develop, maintain and analyze reporting to support special projects and share findings regularly with market and project leadership

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • ASA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
