The successful candidate should have an appropriate terminal degree, is expected to provide leadership to the faculty, oversee development of the division’s research program, administer division resources and financial operations, and ensure continued excellence in the education of dental and graduate students. The successful candidate would be expected to bring a robust, funded, internationally recognized research program related to oral health. Moreover, s/he would have a history of fostering collegiality and collaborative interactions, be a motivational leader, and have demonstrated success in mentoring faculty and students. The Division has a history of collaborative research across the MUSC campus in three priority areas: cancer prevention and management, digestive disorders, and regenerative medicine. There are potential opportunities for joint recruitment in these three areas due to the highly collaborative nature of our institution. As such, candidates with an established publication and funding record in these areas are preferred. BSR is one of four divisions in the Department of Biomedical and Community Health Sciences. Other divisions include the Divisions of Population Oral Health (DPOH), Diagnostic Sciences and Services (DSS), and Emergency Services (DES). The DPOH leads the College's translational, public health, and health services research programs. It also serves as the administrative home to many of our safety net dental clinical rotations and programs. Oral medicine, oral pathology, oral pain, and radiology are specialties in DSS. The Division of Emergency Services is home to predoctoral and graduate programs in endodontics as well as the Urgent Care Clinic. SJCRH The Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is recruiting Faculty Members at the FULL, ASSOCIATE or ASSISTANT level as we expand our Department’s mission to conduct implementation science research to complement a well-established research program consisting of highly innovative clinical, biological, and population-health sciences research (both observational and interventional studies) among survivors of childhood cancer. Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis. As a Mad Scientist, you will inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really all about. We strive to teach kids science in a digestable manner that will stay with them for a life time. You will present awesome, hands-on science programs to elementary-aged kids, including launching your very own rockets hundreds of feet into the air and performing many other thrilling experiments! Kids (and adults) will be amazed! We have worked in collaboration with Crayola™, NASA, and Lego™ to develop some of our programs. Roles & Responsibilities - Observe a seasoned instructor and attend orientation and training prior to leading your program. - Ensure the safety of the kids during programs. - Engage with the kids during the activities and experiments. The goal is for the the kids to have fun, not sit through a lecture. - Must be able to lift equipment in kits, can vary in size and weight (heavier kits have wheels). Your vehicle must be able to accommodate the equipment for the program. - Must be able to drive to and from programs with your own vehicle. Programs near you include locations in Woodbridge, Piscataway, East Brunswick, Edison, and more. Schedule and Pay - After School programs last 1.5 hours and typically begin between 3-4pm. You will have 2 programs per week, but if you have more availability, you can work more days. This is a part-time position. - After School programs pay $40 per program. - Mileage is compensated for any program over 25 miles round trip. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Assist in account management and brokerage services for property & casualty insurance clients in the Life Science, Digital Health and Telemedicine verticals; including, but not limited to, Products Liability, Commercial Property & Auto, Workers Compensation and Cargo Stock Throughput insurance placements. Manage successful outsourcing of workflows including, but not limited to, certificates of insurance, auto identification cards, summaries of insurance, policy checking, exposure collection and annual policy audits. Perform database file management and input information accurately; manage and maintain documents in the agency management system. Manage client account billing, including the invoicing of annual renewals and mid-term policy changes. Manage documentation and correspondence from various carrier websites and other resources. Prepare, review and assist in the preparation of client communications and deliverables, such as renewal strategy and proposal documents and client stewardship reports. Monitor and manage the process of client information, new business, renewals, endorsement, reinstatements and cancellations. Prepare, monitor and resolve billing discrepancies and perform reconciliations. Execute consistent and accurate data, information entry and maintenance in various systems including Microsoft Excel, OneDrive, etc. Execute consistent and accurate database and document management processes and workflows. Coordinate and own the renewal process workflow for successful, timely execution. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Required Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Resident Property and Casualty Insurance License (required to have or be obtained within 3 months of hire). The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado, and New York at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $55,000 - $86,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
