About the role: The Commercial Loan Closer facilitates the loan closing process while providing a high quality of customer service while complying with Bank Policy and Federal Regulations. What you'll do: Review and structure complex commercial, commercial real estate, and construction loan documentation, including letters of credit and supporting documentation, to ensure that all loan documents are: Complete and accurate In compliance with federal regulations, compliant with terms and conditions as approved by the appropriate lending body In adherence to CFBank policies prior to the disbursement of loan proceeds Identify, report funding exceptions appropriately Post-review of attorney-prepared loan documentation, including the supporting documentation Post-closing follow-up for recorded documentation, tickler set up etc. Identifying and reporting loan closing and documentation issues Maintain a close working relationship with credit regarding loan structure and financial and covenant requirements Provide outstanding customer service and display a positive attitude at all times. Adhere to all regulations, policies, and record-keeping requirements. Complete all required training related to bank regulations and policies. Accept other responsibilities and projects as requested to add value for CFBank. Education and Experience Minimum of 3 years of banking experience, primarily in commercial loan document preparation and review experience. Minimum of 1-year complex commercial loan document review experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years LaserPro experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of complex commercial loan documentation, including trusts and various loan agreements, letters of credit, and entity documents. Able to work with various software programs (i.e.: FIS/Horizon, Word, Excel, LaserPro, exception tracking systems, etc.). About the role:

The Commercial Loan Closer facilitates the loan closing process while providing a high quality of customer service while complying with Bank Policy and Federal Regulations.

What you'll do:

Review and structure complex commercial, commercial real estate, and construction loan documentation, including letters of credit and supporting documentation, to ensure that all loan documents are:

  • Complete and accurate
  • In compliance with federal regulations, compliant with terms and conditions as approved by the appropriate lending body

  • In adherence to CFBank policies prior to the disbursement of loan proceeds

  • Identify, report funding exceptions appropriately

  • Post-review of attorney-prepared loan documentation, including the supporting documentation

  • Post-closing follow-up for recorded documentation, tickler set up etc.

  • Identifying and reporting loan closing and documentation issues

  • Maintain a close working relationship with credit regarding loan structure and financial and covenant requirements

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years LaserPro experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of complex commercial loan documentation, including trusts and various loan agreements, letters of credit, and entity documents.
  • Able to work with various software programs (i.e.: FIS/Horizon, Word, Excel, LaserPro, exception tracking systems, etc.).
