About the iFlex RN Role: As an iFlex RN in Labor & Delivery, you'll join Intermountain Health's internal travel agency, supporting high-priority needs with your primary site at Riverton Hospital. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert nursing care to laboring patients and newborns Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery Collaborate with providers and support staff to coordinate safe, effective care Educate families on birth, recovery, and newborn care Prepare patients for postpartum transition and discharge Accurately document interventions and patient responses Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current RN license in the state of Utah Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) National Certification Corporation (NCC) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive pay in line with local and national travel RN rates Pay rates are reviewed quarterly and adjusted based on market trends; each assignment will have a consistent pay rate For assignments more than 50 miles from the employee's home, pro-rated monthly housing reimbursement will be provided Employees are responsible for securing their own housing during each travel assignment Posting Specifics Shift Details: Night shifts Schedule: Full-time hours during a 3-month assignment; 2-3 assignments per calendar year required, based on organizational needs Pay Rate: $68-$75/hour flat rate, based on location and specialty (adjusted quarterly) Travel Requirements: Expected to fill shifts at Riverton Hospital Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility. All iFlex employees will be expected to travel and be able to work at Intermountain sites. Physical Requirements: Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. and - Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. and - Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. and - Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. and - Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.). and - May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period. About the iFlex RN Role:

As an iFlex RN in Labor & Delivery, you'll join Intermountain Health's internal travel agency, supporting high-priority needs with your primary site at Riverton Hospital. This role combines clinical expertise with flexibility, requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills to care for patients during one of life's most important moments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
  • Collaborate with providers and support staff to coordinate safe, effective care
  • Educate families on birth, recovery, and newborn care
  • Prepare patients for postpartum transition and discharge
  • Accurately document interventions and patient responses

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • Current RN license in the state of Utah
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • National Certification Corporation (NCC)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay in line with local and national travel RN rates
  • Pay rates are reviewed quarterly and adjusted based on market trends; each assignment will have a consistent pay rate
  • For assignments more than 50 miles from the employee's home, pro-rated monthly housing reimbursement will be provided
  • Employees are responsible for securing their own housing during each travel assignment

Posting Specifics

  • Shift Details: Night shifts
  • Schedule: Full-time hours during a 3-month assignment; 2-3 assignments per calendar year required, based on organizational needs
  • Pay Rate: $68-$75/hour flat rate, based on location and specialty (adjusted quarterly)

  • Expected to fill shifts at Riverton Hospital
  • Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility.
  • All iFlex employees will be expected to travel and be able to work at Intermountain sites.
