Job Summary The Senior Benefits Analyst supports the administration, analysis, and communication of employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness offerings. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate enrollment, billing, and service delivery. The analyst serves as a resource to employees and HR partners by providing guidance on benefit plan features, eligibility, and issue resolution. The Senior Benefits Analyst is also responsible for the configuration, testing, maintenance, and day-to-day support of systems that manage employee benefit data across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. This role ensures seamless integration between the HRIS, benefits administration platforms, payroll systems, and third-party vendors. The analyst plays a key role in driving automation, accuracy, and scalability of benefit processes, and collaborates closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and external partners to support ongoing operations and improvements. In addition to core administration and systems work, the Benefits Analyst II produces regular and ad hoc reporting to support benefits utilization analysis and regulatory compliance. This role also supports compliance with federal and state regulations-including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA-through audit preparation, required filings, and documentation. The analyst contributes to cross-functional benefits projects, such as open enrollment, plan design changes, process optimization, and system implementations. This position can be 100% Remote * Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and maintain benefit-related system configurations, eligibility rules, and workflows across all platforms (UKG Pro, UKG Benefits Administration/PlanSource, UKG Benefits Admin, UKG HCMG, UKG ACA Manager). Ensure accurate and timely delivery of inbound and outbound data files (e.g., eligibility feeds, payroll deductions, carrier files). Partner with Benefits, Payroll, and HR teams to support annual open enrollment configuration, testing, and execution. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead resolution efforts with internal stakeholders and vendors. Develop and run routine audits, ensuring data integrity between systems (HRIS Benefits Platform Payroll). Create and maintain documentation for system processes, controls, and configuration decisions. Support ACA, 5500, and 1095 reporting through accurate tracking of eligibility and enrollment data. Participate in vendor implementations and system upgrades related to benefits or total rewards. Provide analytics, reporting, and dashboards to support benefits decision-making and compliance monitoring. Complete other duties and projects as assigned. Job Summary

The Senior Benefits Analyst supports the administration, analysis, and communication of employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness offerings. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate enrollment, billing, and service delivery. The analyst serves as a resource to employees and HR partners by providing guidance on benefit plan features, eligibility, and issue resolution.

The Senior Benefits Analyst is also responsible for the configuration, testing, maintenance, and day-to-day support of systems that manage employee benefit data across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. This role ensures seamless integration between the HRIS, benefits administration platforms, payroll systems, and third-party vendors. The analyst plays a key role in driving automation, accuracy, and scalability of benefit processes, and collaborates closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and external partners to support ongoing operations and improvements.

In addition to core administration and systems work, the Benefits Analyst II produces regular and ad hoc reporting to support benefits utilization analysis and regulatory compliance. This role also supports compliance with federal and state regulations-including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA-through audit preparation, required filings, and documentation. The analyst contributes to cross-functional benefits projects, such as open enrollment, plan design changes, process optimization, and system implementations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain benefit-related system configurations, eligibility rules, and workflows across all platforms (UKG Pro, UKG Benefits Administration/PlanSource, UKG Benefits Admin, UKG HCMG, UKG ACA Manager).
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of inbound and outbound data files (e.g., eligibility feeds, payroll deductions, carrier files).
  • Partner with Benefits, Payroll, and HR teams to support annual open enrollment configuration, testing, and execution.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead resolution efforts with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Develop and run routine audits, ensuring data integrity between systems (HRIS Benefits Platform Payroll).
  • Create and maintain documentation for system processes, controls, and configuration decisions.
  • Support ACA, 5500, and 1095 reporting through accurate tracking of eligibility and enrollment data.
  • Participate in vendor implementations and system upgrades related to benefits or total rewards.
  • Provide analytics, reporting, and dashboards to support benefits decision-making and compliance monitoring.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in HRIS, Benefits Technology, or HR Operations

  • Knowledge of benefits administration systems and HRIS platforms (UKG and Plansource preferred.)
  • Knowledge of API/file feed troubleshooting and vendor integrations
  • Ability to work in a multi-state or multinational environment (U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada)
  • Familiarity with COBRA, 401(k), NQDC, and LOA data processes
  • Strong understanding of benefits eligibility rules, ACA reporting, and payroll deductions
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
