Job Summary:

The ideal candidate would have an interest in pursuing a career as a paralegal or legal assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support to in-house counsel
• Perform legal research
• Assist counsel in review of basic contracts and agreements
• Support in drafting documents for attorney review
• Maintain and organize the Legal department’s filing, ensuring accurate tracking and storage of executed agreements, key legal documents, etc.
• Assist with any projects or other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be currently pursuing a degree and remain fully enrolled in the program during the duration of the internship, preferrable with emphasis in
• Must be able to begin an internship in June in Kansas City, MO
• Freshman through Senior standing in a four-year institution pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
